What to Expect
If you are ready to make important changes in your life, or if you are faced with life challenges, a call to the Glenbrook Therapy Center can make a difference.
Your therapy will be guided by sophisticated and up-to-date psychological research and understanding, applied in a respectful and caring manner. You will decide what improvements you want to see in your life and your outlook. The therapy process will make use of your preferences, capabilities, and wisdom, and the success of the process will be measured by your satisfaction with the results.
“And the trouble is, if you don’t risk anything, you risk even more.”
-Erica Jong
For new prospective clients, the Glenbrook Therapy Center offers a brief one-time consultation to help you understand your options. Whether you are interested in just a few sessions or in more intensive therapy, your therapist will work with you to find resources uniquely suited to your own needs and circumstances. Often clients need only a few sessions to work through temporary problems or to get a fresh perspective on their situation. If a referral is appropriate, it will be made to an experienced therapist with graduate training in social work, psychology, or psychiatry, fully licensed by the State of Illinois.
